[ Thor was having his own troubles, keeping the hoards off of him. He had first thought their numbers to be an amusing challenge. But lacking in strength and power as he was, they were soon becoming too much for him. And that troubled him deeply. He could handle an army of frost giants on his own, with his bare hands. These human sized creatures should not pose such a threat!
He caught a glimpse of Rogers through the fray, saw how much trouble he was having as well. He knew the man to be more than strong enough to stand on his own, he'd seen him against the army of invaders. But there was no way he could keep all those off on his own. Seeing a trio coming up behind the soldier, he charged.
He mowed down several zombies in his path, planting his fist right in the face of the middle one. Another was knocked down in the process. But the third remained standing. It was too close to avoid. And before Thor could pull back, it had its teeth in his unarmored forearm.
Thinking little of it, he pulled it away and crushed its skull between his hands. ]
