[Natalie allowed the man accompanying her to run, while she lingered a short distance behind. She wished she had a solution for him, some sort of answer to get them both out of this. She was used to always being able to find a way out, to find a fix to any problem.
She can't do that here.
But she is still able to produce a smile, and so she jogs to close the distance between them, a light grin intact on her face.]

She doesn't waste any time in heading over toward it. She'll have to jump to reach the bottom over it, but it shouldn't be any trouble reaching it. Her companion, however -]
Over here! When you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up, right? [She grins, laughing as she claps her hands together. She readies herself before taking a leap upward, grabbing hold of the bottom of the ladder in order to pull herself up so she can climb to the roof.]
