[ It is nice to get some down time for the zombies. Of course down time can last anywhere from five minutes to a couple days if you're really lucky.... usually closer to the first. Either way Jake is flopping down on the floor while he has the chance. ]

How are you holding up?

[ it's definitely a breath of fresh air when you can stop somewhere that isn't completely run over by zombies. with any luck, they can stay in shelter for at least a day to regroup.

she's fiddling with a handgun she managed to grab on their way here - not much ammunition, but sufficient. ]

[ Between the one she has and the two he showed up with, it's still something though. That plus the chance to kick back and regroop will give them some edge here.

Not too bad otherwise all things considered.

[ now that she's God Tier powerless, things are going to get a lot harder. at the very least, they have the firearm experience. ]

I think everyone is.

[ a sigh. ] But we're gonna get through this. Somehow.

[ Now their only problem is making sure they have enough bullets for all the zombies they come across. That might be more of a challenge since Jake doesn't have his sylladex of endless guns and ammo anymore either. ]

Now if we could just get the rest of them to keep up that same attitude.

[ Standing up a little stiffly and walking over to the window to peek outside. ]
