[ Hi there miss, don't mind him as he walks in and bars the door. He's not really paying a lot of attention to his surroundings right now, which all things considered is pretty dangerous since you never know where zombies could be lurking.

Mostly he was just trying to escape from the ones outside and didn't really stop to make sure there was no one else around before ducking inside and shoving everything larger than a baseball up against the door. ]

[She starts upon seeing him, quickly springing into action. It doesn't take a genius to realize just why he's barring the door, so she doesn't question him. She turns around, gazing at the room around them, trying to find anything she can use to help.

Or so she would have. Instead, she gasps, dropping down into a more defensive position and reaching for the handgun at her side.

Looks like they've got a visitor.] Watch out! You can't lock us in here with that!

[ Jerking his head around. When he started slamming things against the door he was pretty sure that whatever was out there wouldn't be nearly as problematic as what was in here. Unfortunately he's manage to make escape for both of them more difficult than necessary now. ]

Wha-- Jesus kicking Christ!

[ Okay, forget stacking things against the door, he's now trying desperate to toss stuff to the side. ]

[She glances between him and the zombie, trying to gauge just how much time they have. If she ran over to help him and it chose that moment to attack... But just how long could she last by herself against it anyway?]

Come on! We're getting outta here!

[Mind made up, she joins him, pushing everything she can get her hands on out of the way.]
