[ Fighting the undead requires a different approach and technique -- they aren't slowed down by a swift kick to the chest, and knocking them off their feet is not as effective as she'd like, as they need seemingly no time to recover. Her Widow's Bite is useless against them for the same reason; they lack a nervous system, and she has never had to completely rely on guns before, but in this place, it's them and makeshift weapons that will ensure her survival.

She hasn't seen a single zombie movie, to be perfectly honest, so it's a guessing game in its entirety when she's joined one Mister Sark in collecting supplies in the empty and abandoned mall and the shrieking, rotting corpses begin to close in. She's taken down enough of them to know that a bullet to the brain shuts them down, just like beheading, but that's the only two ways to kill them, and she's running out of ammunition. ]
