[John almost forgets to pop his Chakan oil cartridge out of his pistol to check, he's so surprised to see the ground pulling all that right in front of him. One of these days he'll straight-up ask for the science behind this - that is, if they don't end up as zombies themselves. John as the sneaking suspicion if it's down to the two of them, he's the one with the higher chances of zombification, just because he doesn't have magic rock powers here]
