Re: yukito ☆ fire candy
HEY! You fu-
Ah, Yukito!

[ She blinks at him - because, hey, you're supposed to be dead, and honestly everything looks dead here - but then her eyes light up a little and there's a strangled gasp. ]
Ryoki - [ Oh blood. That gasp turns to one of panic and her eyes go wide. ] Oh - you're hurt!
no subject
[he moves closer to her, mostly to check on her - if she has wounds or bites, if she is okay] Are you okay? Not hurt, are ya?
no subject
[ But it's only silent for a moment, only silent before he moves toward her and she twitches in a halfstep backwards. ]
I'm fine, but you're not - that is not fine.

The rest of the blood that covered him... well, the half had already his moments of delighting himself (aka getting off to it), it was definitively Tetsu's. Of course the half bull couldn't just tell her he cut off Tetu's head while she was fainted, could he?
But when she steps backwards, he stops]
... Yukito, there are zombies everywhere, we can't stay here like this. We gotta find some safe place to stay, okay?
no subject
[ After all, the ones at home - they were only fictional, right? ]
[ She worried her lower lip with her teeth none too gently, and her hands clutched at the ragged folds of her shirt, the jacket she only vaguely remembered being given when they had all come to her rescue. But as this place hadn't deemed it appropriate to clean him up, they hadn't deemed it appropriate to give her new clothes either. Yukito shivered, but she was quite sure that wasn't because of the cold. ]
...Yeah. [ She said after a moment, and let's all take a moment to appreciate that her voice didn't break. ] Yeah - yes, we do. Some place safe so we can get you cleaned up. Zombies are attracted to blood, right?

I'unno, I think so. [or probably just their smell. Ryoki regretted never watching zombie movies right now, because he found them to be so dumb and annoying.
He extends his hand so Yukito could take it] Come on, let's go. Let's find a house to hide.
no subject
[ Nostrils flare ever so slightly in apprehension. They're to go hide, but what if something finds them and they can't run? They could run out here in the open. ]
[ Big eyes blink and gaze is averted, she looks over her should to hopefully quash the unpleasant feeling that someone - something - is creeping up behind her. He offers his hand, but what if she doesn't want to take it? What if the second she slips her hand into his, she'll get instantly as bloodied? ]
[ ...No. No, that was stupid. A stupid thought. What was a little blood between friends? ]
Do you think they'd be safe? The houses? There could be things in them, or people.
[ She laces her fingers with his. But purposefully doesn't look down at their hands once her gaze has returned to his. ]

[Ryoki noticed how long it took her to finally take his hand, but he decided not to say anything about it. They could think and talk once they got out of the streets.
Taking her hand with his, the half bull ran towards the first house, trying to open the door, which remained closed. The windows were covered with wooden planks, so there was no use breaking it.
Perhaps the back door. Again, he gently tugged Yukito to follow him and walked around the house to the back-door, which he fought to open. ] Fuck...!
no subject
[ The house comes up sooner than she is expecting, however, but the door is locked. Both doors are locked and Ryoki is swearing and her eyes dag across the scene before alighting upon an external ground basement door. ]
We could try there. [ Should. ] Should try there. It doesn't look locked!

Of course the basement was occupied by two zombies. But Ryoki didn’t panic. No, instead, he huffs and a sadistic smirk that Yukito is probably not used to (she might only have noticed it once before, when the half fought Tetsu) grows on his face as he holds the bat up. He had no excuses to hold back now, he could unleash all of his anger and blood-lust without any problems because this became “natural”.
And with that in mind, and the pleasure pooling in his body, the hunger for a fight itching and the need for blood scratching the back of his mind, Ryoki throws himself at the undead, bat swinging to it one right on it’s face and probably crack it open.]

[ Her voice is flat, steady. The way the pamphlet crumples in her hand is the only sign Natasha gives of how displeased she is by this news. Fictional. As though in all her complexity and broken dreams, her power and womanhood, could have been simply made up inside one person's head. ]
My life is mine. And I intend to return to it.
[ She glances across at the other woman in the room with her — a girl, really — as though noticing her for the first time. ]

[ Ears perked at the sound of talking by then - not alone, you're not alone - and a yellowed gaze danced up, meeting that of the other female in the room with a sort of bland curiosity. And a wave of embarrassment when it dawned on her that she might have been staring, intruding on a private, self-conversational moment. People needed those; it was very rude of her to intrude without some sort of contribution to the cause. ]
Well... [ She began, and nodded agreeably. ] ...Yeah. Yeah, you should - that is something you should do.

What's your name?
no subject
[ It promotes a level of comfort between them, a I'm not a monsters, see? level of comfort. And it is probably why she offers her name up so readily when asked. ]
I'm Yukito. What's yours?
no subject
[ It's not actually a lie. She has a passport with the name Natalie on it. If you translate her real name from the Russian it can come out Natasha or Natalia; they're the same thing. They're the same person. She smiles at the girl with pointed ears, a tiny reassuring smile. Her American accent is flawless. ]
It's going to be okay, Yukito. Are you from Japan? Would you feel more comfortable if I spoke Japanese?
no subject
I don't mind how you're talking.
[ ...it's actually the first time she's considered that she can understand the other lady. It's...it's weird. But this whole thing is weird, this whole situation. ]
Do you - uh, do you think this is all real? [ All being accentuated by a wave of the hand to the room around them. ]
