[ Her voice is flat, steady. The way the pamphlet crumples in her hand is the only sign Natasha gives of how displeased she is by this news. Fictional. As though in all her complexity and broken dreams, her power and womanhood, could have been simply made up inside one person's head. ]
My life is mine. And I intend to return to it.
[ She glances across at the other woman in the room with her — a girl, really — as though noticing her for the first time. ]

[ Ears perked at the sound of talking by then - not alone, you're not alone - and a yellowed gaze danced up, meeting that of the other female in the room with a sort of bland curiosity. And a wave of embarrassment when it dawned on her that she might have been staring, intruding on a private, self-conversational moment. People needed those; it was very rude of her to intrude without some sort of contribution to the cause. ]

[ It's not actually a lie. She has a passport with the name Natalie on it. If you translate her real name from the Russian it can come out Natasha or Natalia; they're the same thing. They're the same person. She smiles at the girl with pointed ears, a tiny reassuring smile. Her American accent is flawless. ]
