[John doesn't even have time to instinctively flinch away from the wire shooting over his shoulder, Lin is just that fast]

I'll let you know when I do. [Offers her an exhausted grin, even if she doesn't seem like the smiling time. John turns with the breathing space Lin gave him and fires at some of the zombies further in the back, his pulse pistol flashing]

[Lin only responds with a slight rolling of her eyes as she slams a foot forward, knocking a wave of them backward with the way the earth rises and pushes them backward. Another sharp movement, and there's a wall in their way, too thick for them to get through too quickly.]

[John almost forgets to pop his Chakan oil cartridge out of his pistol to check, he's so surprised to see the ground pulling all that right in front of him. One of these days he'll straight-up ask for the science behind this - that is, if they don't end up as zombies themselves. John as the sneaking suspicion if it's down to the two of them, he's the one with the higher chances of zombification, just because he doesn't have magic rock powers here]

Not much. I'll need to find another weapon if this keeps up.
