Sam Winchester | Supernatural
A wild Castiel appears!
He turns into a hallway and sees Sam in some state or another.]
Sam.
:'D
Cas. [There's a quick sigh of relief, and he motions for the other to follow him into a deserted room.] When did you-- have you been here this whole time?
:3
No, I just arrived. [Pause.] Have you been here long?
no subject
No, I... not too long. A few hours, I guess.
[With a final, heavy exhale, he straightens up again.]
What about you?
no subject
I believe it has been the same length of time.
[Pause. Castiel reaches forward and touches his fingers to Sam's forehead. There is some healing, but it's minimal. He frowns.]
no subject
[Then, he peaks carefully out of the room, to assure that there aren't any zombies nearby. With a sigh, he turns back to the angel.]
You haven't seen Dean, have you?
no subject
No.
[Castiel checks for zombies himself as well. He can't really feel them, so he'd rather not be caught off guard.]
no subject
Alright. ... We'll just have to keep moving, then.
no subject
Yes.

[He fires a few of the salt rounds into the approaching zombies. The undead had attacked them shortly after their arrival, not giving them very much time to focus on the cryptic "you aren't real" message.]
So, what do we think? Croatoan?
[His expression is scrunched up, bewildered. Because this isn't like anything they've experienced, not really.]
no subject
[Dean grabs the bullet box in the pocket of his canvas jacket and shoves the rest at Sam. He's not gonna risk him and salt isn't a deterrent for these things.
The bastards were getting closer. Dean leans over the car and brains a few but that only gets the attention of some others.]
Nah, this isn't Croatoan. Those things had a mind of their own. At least for a while. These things are flesh hungry killers. The Croats wanted to expand, remember?
[Dean leans over the car and checks for a way out on all sides. They might be able to get somewhere through the back alley way on their right but that's only if it wasn't packed with these meat heads too.]
First thing's first we need a way out. There's too many of 'em t'go toe to toe. When we get to higher ground then we can start research on what the hell these things are.
no subject
So, a way out. Between shots, Sam casts a quick glance around, eyes scouring their surroundings for some kind of safe haven. There are more than enough buildings around, though some of them clearly house a few meandering zombies. He can see them through the empty windows, skulking around without purpose.]
Seems like we'll just have to make a break for it. Pick a place, hold it down, make sure we're alone in there.
[Alone meaning sans zombies, of course. If there were others fighting for their lives, that might be a help.]
no subject
[Dean glances over his shoulder and tries to wrench his neck at an angle where he can see down the darkly lit path for a better look.]
We could also car jack if the street on the other side is clearer. Find some place with actual civilization.
no subject
That is, if there is any... 'actual civilization' left.
[It was pessimistic, but they had to consider all options of their new reality.]
no subject
[It's too bad Cas wasn't here they could just angel bus right out of this place.
Dean caps another one between the eyes and makes his way toward the alley, fingers tight around Sam's sleeve pulling him along so they don't lose each other.]
Do you remember anything before showing up here?
[He has to ask because the last thing he remembers is facing down War.
As far he knows there's nothing that explains why they suddenly showed up in the middle of hell.]
no subject
she's never quite seen a human's - or an anything's - head snap back like that. although she's seen plenty of snapped necks. and the thing takes a grotesque moment to gurgle out a moan and keep coming too.
so she shovel slaps it across the face again. ]
no subject
... Uh. Good job?
no subject
no subject
I'm Sam. And, you?
