[Walter can bear the armor piercing existentialism question over being real or not. He damn well needs to breath and his fingers are stinging madly from a days worth of slaying. That counts as existing, prior reading material or not.

Arguably the ghouls (zombies as the public so feels incline to call them) are bearable. They are stronger and that does bother him making the once simple flip of the wrist to decimate dozens impossible. It takes focus to take one done, let alone a dozen.

No, by far it is the current issue at hand that is unbearable.

The cigarettes are stale, old, rotted, and so forth and so on. Oh the lighters work, but there is not much use for a lighter when the smokes do not offer that relaxing inhale of tobacco.]

[It's late at night, and Hanna is busying herself with exploring her surroundings. It is important to become familiar with them, to memorize them in case an escape is possible.

However, her exploration mission is cut short by a zombie attack. It has taken no time at all for Hanna to realize the brain is the key to defeating these particular enemies, and with her newly found machete in hand she is hacking and chopping her way through the undead crowd.

As one advances upon her, she drops to the ground and scurries her way through the hoard on hands and knees, picking herself up to run as soon as she is free. She rounds a nearby corner and clips the shoulder of the man there.

She is stunned she hadn't noticed him, and simply stares up at him for a moment, before glancing over her shoulder at the creatures she left behind.]

I would not go that way. There could be no promise that you would be safe if you did.
